Course Description
This course studies the link between the lexical level and the ontological level (related to the knowledge of text domain). In fact, in specialized domains, the terms are often poly-lexical units and processing them is an essential step in understanding texts. We will experiment with the TCC TermSuite software and analyse the results. The classification tools used previously will be used in aims to organize these terms. We will see as well the real life cases of terminological resources, of transdisciplinary lexical resources, and we will illustrate the relationship between these and Linked Open Data.
