Application Process

Requirements for Applying
Year 1 – Master 1 (M1)
To apply for the first year of the programme:
- Academic Qualifications: Hold a « Bac+3 » (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree) or 180 ECTS credits. Provisional acceptance is possible if you are yet to graduate, but admission will remain conditional on obtaining your diploma.
- Relevant Background: A degree in computer science, mathematics, linguistics, or related fields is required. Applicants should have basic knowledge of programming, mathematics, and/or linguistics and demonstrate a good level of English proficiency.
- Motivation Letter: This is a key component of your application and should convey your understanding of NLP, your reasons for applying, and your interest in the field.
- Supporting Documents: Including certificates, proof of academic success, and recommendations, will strengthen your application.
Year 2 – Master 2 (M2)
Admission to M2 is highly selective and reserved for candidates with significant prior expertise in NLP. Applicants are encouraged to apply for M1 for a comprehensive experience and better integration into the programme.
Application Process
For Year 1 of the MSc in NLP (« Master 1 TAL« ):
- Students living outside of the European Union: Apply via Études en France.
- Students living inside of the European Union: Apply via Mon Master.
- International students living in France: Apply via Mon Master.
For Year 2 of the MSc in NLP (« Master 2 TAL« ):
- Students living outside of the European Union: Apply via Études en France.
- Students living inside of the European Union: Apply via e-candidat.
- International students living in France: Apply via e-candidat.

Required Documents
Ensure your application includes the following:
- Completed and signed application form.
- A valid identity document (with photo).
- Copies of diplomas or certificates (with translations in English or French, if needed).
- Academic transcripts:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, 180 ECTS).
- Current studies (if applicable).
- Final two years of secondary school.
- A detailed CV.
- A motivation letter.
- Proof of English proficiency (B2, C1 or C2).
- Justifications for any interruptions in studies (e.g. employment contracts).
- Descriptions or syllabi of courses or training completed.
- One or more referral forms.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
